The Country Chapel Farm wedding venue is located in the beautiful country side of West Virgina.

If you are dreaming of a country wedding, The Country Chapel Farm is the ideal venue.  We believe in bringing the simple life into your wedding.  Our vintage country chapel is the perfect location for a small to mid sized wedding and is sure to bring a quaint country flare to your ceremony.  We are a full service venue to keep your wedding simple and hassle free.

Country chapel

The Church was built in 1870.  It was moved from Oakgrove Road, Terra Alta, WV to the current location in the 1970’s.  Ruth & Clem Teets moved the church which has been restored using era period techniques.

Scenic Views

West Virginia, referred to as the Mountain State, is known for the most beautiful scenic views of the Appalachian Mountains.  Enjoy the blissful views and the peacefulness that our country venue has to offer.  

Wine & cheese Bar

After the ceremony, head on over to the beautiful on site wine and cheese bar at Sophie’s Serendipity for the reception and celebration.  Country Chapel Farm provides top quality meat, cheese and wine and more for your dinner.

Bed and Breakfast

After the celebration, extend your stay at our Bed and Breakfast.  The original house was built in 1890. Special care was taken in the restoration to keep the charm and look of the era…a perfect place to relax after your special day.

To be fully seen by somebody, then, and be loved anyhow–this is a human offering that can border on miraculous.
